Netflix keeps DVDs and Qwikster dies

These past couple of months Netflix has been on a rollercoaster. Netflix had changed the prices for DVD and instant streaming and then afterwards decided to split the company into two. Yesterday a blog post from Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said “It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs,” 

Generally this means no Qwikster. If you go to Qwikster.com you will be redirected to Netflix. The company stock dropped 50 percent from July to September. Netflix will be sticking with the price change and games will not be coming to Netflix.
